Doing the Right Work
How leaders align purpose, people, and process before everything becomes urgent.
The goal is not to do more work. The goal is to do the right work.
Many teams are busy, but busy does not always mean aligned. This presentation helps leaders and organizations examine whether their people are focused on the right priorities, supported by the right processes, and clear on the purpose behind the work. It challenges leaders to stop chasing every task and start making better decisions about what deserves time, energy, and attention.
Recognize the difference between being busy and being aligned.
Clarify what work actually matters most.
Identify where teams are wasting time, energy, and capacity.
Strengthen decision-making around priorities and tradeoffs.
Align people, purpose, and process before work becomes chaotic.
Help leaders protect focus and reduce unnecessary workplace friction.
A lot of workplace frustration comes from doing too much of the wrong work. Teams are stretched, leaders are reactive, and priorities keep shifting. Doing the right work requires leaders to pause, ask better questions, and make tradeoffs visible. This talk gives audiences a practical way to think about alignment, capacity, and focus so they can stop treating everything like a priority and start leading with intention.
Developing people. Growing leaders. Strengthening workplaces.
Real progress happens when purpose, people, and process are aligned. My work focuses on improving how people show up at work, not just how they move up. Drawing from more than 20 years of experience across healthcare, operations, and enterprise IT, I bring practical expertise in leadership development, workplace communication, project alignment, and organizational effectiveness. My goal is to help leaders and teams strengthen how they communicate, make decisions, and do the right work.
