The Next Step in Productivity
Teams set targets, put actions in place, and still fall short. The gap between setting goals and achieving them rarely comes down to effort. It comes down to whether each person's motivations and individual strengths are truly understood and being put to good use. When that alignment is missing, KPIs miss the mark and teams quietly disengage. In this workshop, Chris shows leaders and teams how simple changes create remarkable outcomes when people understand what actually drives each other. Drawing on the DEEP process, participants explore what is really limiting their productivity, identify what each individual and the team genuinely needs, and find a clear path forward that works for everyone. The transformation is from disinterested to productive. Teams leave with a shared understanding of each other's strengths, a practical framework for working more coherently together, and the confidence that the results they have been chasing are closer than they thought. This workshop is customised to the specific needs of your organisation, because the productivity challenges your team faces are unique, and the solutions should be too.
The Next Step in Decision Making
Every day leaders make decisions that shape their team, their results, and their reputation. Yet too often those choices feel rushed, reactive, or clouded by competing demands. The hardest part is not the lack of information, it is knowing how to cut through the noise and make decisions with genuine clarity, especially when the pressure is on. In this workshop, Chris helps leaders and teams step back from the busyness, see what is actually missing, and move forward with momentum. Drawing on the DEEP process, a practical framework built around how individuals are naturally wired, participants learn how to draw on their own knowledge while genuinely listening to others, how to separate signal from noise, and how to make clear, concise, and thoughtful decisions in a timely and efficient way. The transformation is from confusion to clarity. Leaders leave knowing their next step, with the hesitation removed and the confidence to make decisions that work for everyone. This workshop is customised to the specific needs of your organisation, because the challenges your team faces are unique, and the solutions should be too.
The Next Step in Effective Communication
Some conversations are simply hard work. Every person comes to a conversation through their own unique perspective, and when those perspectives clash or are misunderstood, teams start to crack. The breakdown is rarely about intent. It is about not knowing how to meet others where they are. In this workshop, Chris helps teams identify the innate strengths each person brings to their communication, and how to use that understanding to make even the most challenging conversations manageable. Drawing on the DEEP process, participants learn how their own communication style lands with others, where the friction really comes from, and how simple shifts in approach can change the entire dynamic of a conversation. The transformation is from difficult to easy. Teams leave with a shared language for how they communicate, the ability to recognise what each person needs in the moment, and the confidence to work through problems with minimum effort and maximum focus. This workshop is customised to the specific needs of your organisation, because the communication challenges your team faces are unique, and the solutions should be too.

My story
My relationship with speaking started early. In Year 11 I joined the debating team, and by Year 12 my teachers asked me to drop a subject and concentrate on public speaking instead. Then life got in the way, and the microphone went quiet for a long time. When I started Balance Central in 2009, I began networking, and I noticed something. Every time there was an opportunity to pick up a microphone, I took it. Two minutes, five minutes, it didn't matter. I used whatever time I had to create impact, and something in me came alive every single time. In 2015 I walked into my first Professional Speakers Australia chapter event. I didn't have the words for it then, but I knew instinctively that this was where I needed to be. I just didn't believe yet that I was a speaker. So I did what felt natural. I started serving. I joined the chapter leadership team, worked under a range of chapter leaders over several years, and kept showing up. The message I received consistently from those who had been in the community longest was simple: keep serving. So I did. In 2017 I launched my first training program, Unlock Your Power, which I have since delivered over 100 times. That milestone, more than anything, confirmed that the work was resonating and that the impact was real. In 2020 I became a Professional Member of PSA. From 2021 I served as part of the Speakers Academy development team, stepping into a mentoring role in 2024 and taking on the role of leading the program in 2025. That same year I was granted the Certified Speaking Professional designation. In 2024 I also joined the PSA National Board for a three year term. All of this, while still serving my clients. The CSP meant everything, not as an arrival point, but as a reflection of a journey that started in a Year 11 classroom and never really stopped.
